The domestic vehicle sales in the country include commercial vehicles and also passenger cars. In the Indian market alone, the company sold a total of 76,537 units versus 65,151 units in October 2021, registering a growth of more than 17%.
Diving a little deeper, domestic passenger car sales registered a considerable increase of 33% compared to last month. The company sold 32,912 units in October 2021, which increased to 45,423 units in October 2022.
Although there was an increase in passenger car sales, commercial vehicle sales witnessed a dip of 2% when compared to October 2021.

Tata Motors is the market leader when it comes to electric vehicles. Hence, the EV sales for passengers increased by 158% for the company to 4,277 units in October 2022 from 1660 units in October 2021.
Well, the company has various electric vehicles in the Indian market. These include Tata Nexon EV (EV MAX), Tata Tigor EV, and Tata Tiago EV.
