Tata has launched Tiago EV into the Indian market and delivered on the promise of making it the most affordable EV in the market. It has a lot to offer across the price range & respective variants. Let’s dive in and see what each of the four variants brings to the table:
XE
Going up the list, we have the base variant XE of the Tiago EV. You can consider this as a tight-budget EV equipped with basic features. It is powered by a 19.2kWh battery and a 3.3kW AC charger. It offers an MIDC claimed range of 250 kilometres. It has a price of ₹8.49 lakhs ex-showroom.

Coming to the features, usually, the base trims are always under-equipped. But this car has a fully digital instrument cluster, automatic HVAC, iTPMS and a tilt steering wheel. The exterior comes with body-coloured bumpers and blue accents, and the unique point will be the 45+ connected features with the ZConnect.
XT
Moving up, we have the following variant, XT. This trim of the Tiago EV is available with both battery packs. It comes with the above-mentioned 19.2kWh battery pack and a bigger 24kWh battery with the same 3.3kWh charger. The bigger battery offers an MIDC-claimed range of 315 kilometres. The 19.2kWh battery pack is available for a price of ₹9.09 lakhs, while the bigger one is priced at ₹9.99 lakhs.

It comes with body-coloured door handles, blue accents around the car, electrically folding & adjustable ORVMs and wheel covers. It is also equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. In addition to that, it comes with steering-mounted control, Smartwatch connectivity with ZConnect, a Flip key and theatre dimming on headlamps.
XZ+
This variant is just below the top trim. The Tiago EV XZ+ comes with the 24kWh battery and is available with fast charging. It is offered with the above-mentioned 3.3kWh AC charger and a 7.2kWh AC charger. It brings down the charging time to 3.6 hours. It is priced at ₹10.79 lakhs and ₹11.29 lakhs with fast charging.

In addition to the features mentioned above, it is equipped with Projector headlamps & Daytime running lamps (DRLs) with Front fog lamps and stands on Hyperstyle 14-inch wheels. It also gets a Knitted headliner and convenience features like Cruise control, rear washer-wiper & defogger, rain-sensing wipersAuto headlamps and a rear power outlet. The cabin also has a cooled glovebox and a 4-tweeter and 4-speaker sound system.
XZ+ Tech Lux
Coming to the last variant, Tiago EV XZ+ Tech Lux is the top trim for this car. It is equipped with the tech mentioned above and the same battery & charging options. It is priced at ₹12.29 lakhs with the 3.3kWh AC charger and ₹11.79 lakhs with the fast charger.

Tiago EV comes in five colours: Midnight Plum, Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Teal Blue and Tropical Mist and two drive modes: City & Sport. This variant has cosmetic upgrades such as a contrasting black roof with leatherette seats and a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. It also has a push-button start/stop and an electric tailgate. Tata commenced the bookings for this car on 10th October and received more than 10,000 bookings in a day, with deliveries starting in January 2023. These are introductory prices for the first 10,000 buyers, out of which 2,000 are reserved for the existing Nexon EV & Tigor EV customers.
