- It has got better power output, better fuel efficiency and similar torque delivery. Although the torque is delivered at a higher RPM as compared to Tigor.
- Tigor having a 3-cylinder engine will have more engine vibrations as compared to the 4 cylinder engine in DZire.

- The DZire is much wider than the Tigor which means more shoulder room for the occupants.
- Tigor has got slightly more headroom as compared to the DZire, although the difference is not much.
- Tigor does have a bigger boot space as compared to the counterpart.
- Tata’s compact sedan weighs much more than the DZire, which means the car will feel a bit underpowered as the engine specs are already lower than the DZire.

- The previous generation of DZire scored a rating of 2 stars at the Global NCAP crash testing whereas Tata Tigor has a rating of 4 stars. The 2020 DZire has not been rated as the company has decided not to send their cars for the testing at Global NCAP.
- The extra weight on Tigor might be due to the extra safety added to the car which helped it to score 4 stars while the structure was deemed to be stable.

- But it does lack in terms of power as well as fuel efficiency.

Specifications such as performance, comfort features and safety features are comparable. Both of the cars are from compact sedan segment and ave a similar price range, though the top-end variant of Maruti Suzuki DZire is priced higher. Stay tuned!

If you drive a 900kg 2 star rated unsafe tin box like Maruti Dzire, ofcourse the performance will be good. You can go to heaven and count the money you saved from Dzire`s excellent mileage.

Tata Tigor is definitely a better car in terms of safety. But when it comes to engine refinement and performance, Maruti Suzuki does have an upper hand over the Tata. Stay tuned!
Sometimes it is necessary to give an upper hand to safety rather than fuel economy. Tigor 2020 is a fair player in the segment and safety assured.
