Its been a while since American electric car manufacturer Tesla has been testing the first India-bound product, Tesla Model 3 on Indian roads. Not only that it is also being speculated that the Indian spec variant will boast some first in segment features.
A few days back another test mule of the Model 3 was spotted testing near Chakan, in Pune. It is also believed that the Indian variant will also lose some features available in other countries. With one such feature being the brand’s Autopilot feature.
However, now spy shots of the interior of the Tesla Model 3 have surfaced revealing the very unique feature which according to our knowledge no car has to offer.
The feature in question is the Hindi user interface which no other car in India has to offer.
The American carmaker is also expected to run its business through 3 major metro cities, Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Although the Indian government has been constantly persuading Tesla on giving a thought about having a manufacturing plant in the country. It seems that Tesla has something else planned for its soon to be Indian consumers.
Currently, Tesla holds 4 cars under line-up- Model 3, Model S, Model Y and Model X. Model 3 serves as the entry-level variant in its lineup. The Model 3 has 3 configurations in the International markets Standard Range Plus, Long Range and Performance.
As per WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure) this electric sedan can easily run up to 381km – 580km on a single charge. The standard American version offers 4-battery options- 54kWh, 62kWh, 75kWh, and 82kWh.
