The 2022 Hyundai Creta is all geared up for its global debut this month. While the launch is only a day away, image leaks have started surfacing the internet. As usual, Hyundai has made key changes to the car’s exterior and additions on the inside too. Here are 5 things you observe on the 2022 Hyundai Creta!

Design Language
In the last decade, Hyundai has given a shot at many designs on their cars; some worked, some didn’t. When the Fluidic Verna launched in 2011, Hyundai knew that they had hit the ball out of the park. Other Hyundai cars also followed this design, including the Creta, and it did pretty well. In 2020, Hyundai again set a new standard with Creta’s Palisade inspired design. It was criticized at first, but then people got used to it and started loving it. Turning haters into lovers is something that only a few products can do! Now, with the 2022 Hyundai Creta, there is yet another design change. This one is inspired by the new-gen Hyundai Tuscon, which is sold in abroad markets. Major changes lie in the front, where the headlight unit has been merged into the parametric grille, which gives the front a flush aesthetic. The fog lamps and the indicators have been placed together in one holding, just below the headlamps. It also gets side body cladding, which adds to the SUV appeal of the car.

Added Safety on the 2022 Hyundai Creta
The facelifted Creta will come with a host of new safety features. It already gets 6-Airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, Traction Control and multiple driving modes. The new model will also come with lane keep assist, auto emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring.

ADAS on the 2022 Hyundai Creta
The update will also fetch the Creta an Advanced Driver’s Assistance System (ADAS). Creta will be the second car in the segment to offer this feature, after the MG Astor. However, ADAS is only expected on the top-spec variant.

New Features
The Hyundai Creta is one of the most feature-loaded cars in its segment, and probably a segment above too! The facelift will bring along even more features that we felt were missing on the Creta. A 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and a digital driver’s display, are some of the features that will be added.

Launch in India
The 2022 Hyundai Creta will be off the covers on 11th November 2021, and it is expected in India by the second half of 2022. This brings along a question, should one wait for the 2022 variant? The outgoing Creta has pretty high waiting periods for almost all variants. So if you are looking to buy a Creta, the new model might launch just after you buy yours. Our take on this- if you are in no hurry, then be patient and wait for the 2022 variant. If you can’t wait, check out this article.
