Maruti Dzire (13,394 Units)
As usual, the first place is held by a Maruti Suzuki vehicle. This car has been in the market for quite a long now and has always been seen at the top. With a sale of 13,394 units and a YoY drop of almost 29%, Dzire has been the first one among the top-selling sedans in March 2023.

Honda Amaze (3,996 Units)
With a significant sale number difference, we have the Honda Amaze at the second position. This car has reported a sale of 3,996 units with a YoY growth of 33.73%.

Hyundai Aura (3,774 Units)
The third one on the list of top-selling sedans in March 2023 is the Hyundai Aura. Well, this has just got a facelift in the recent past. The Hyundai Aura has been the first CNG sedan from the Korean automaker for the Indian market.

Hyundai Verna (3,755 Units)
With mixed audience reactions towards the exterior design and styling, Hyundai Verna is also trying to make its mark in the Indian market. With the already developed legacy of the sedan, we expect the sale numbers to grow soon. For the top selling sedans in March 2023, Verna is at the 4th place.

Tata Tigor (2,705 Units)
Moving on, we have Tata’s edition of sub 4 metre sedans. The Tigor has a petrol, CNG and an electric version too. With a sale of 2,705 units, the sale has declined YoY by almost 32%.

Honda City (2,693 Units)
The only car that is letting this Japanese brand survive in India due to the already created legacy. Among the top selling sedans for March 2023, this car has ranked 6th with a YoY drop of 16%.

Volkswagen Virtus (1,792 Units)
This German tech is the new favourite among the car enthusiasts in India. after they discontinued Polo in India, this car has been going places! Skoda Slavia (1,574 Units)
Moving on, we have Skoda’s Slavia. This car has captured the market for them which was earlier done by the Rapid. This sedan is indeed a great one in terms of features, tech and performance. Among the top-selling sedans for March 2023, this car scored 1,574 units.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (300 Units)
On the 9th rank we have the Maruti Ciaz with a sale of just 300 units. If you consider Ciaz’s sales from last year, there has been a 83% drop. Heavy competition we guess!
