Tata Nexon is one of the top sellers and most versatile products in the market. It is the only car to be offered with all available powertrains, and with an upcoming CNG version, it will fill all the boxes. It is available in petrol, diesel & electric versions with a huge list of features & tech.

Nexon is the best product from Tata, it has been roaring with sales numbers and is the highest-selling EV in India as well. Launching a CNG version will boost sales even more. It will be offered with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox and might also get drive modes. The price will be slightly hiked by around ₹60,000, and it will be among the most affordable compact SUVs with a CNG version.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
The second car on our list is the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. It used to rule the segment in the initial years but the sales slowly fell as the company did not update the car with the latest features. Maruti Suzuki launched the new generation Vitara Brezza into the market this year and started gaining its old position in the segment.

Altroz is also among the top performers in the premium hatchback segment. It is a good car with both petrol & diesel powertrains and various trims with good fuel efficiency. The CNG version was also spied testing on our roads this year, hinting at a launch in 2023.

It will be available with the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, and with the CNG kit fitted, the power figures will drop slightly. Tata also launched the DCA transmission this year, but it might not be available with the CNG version. The rest features & cosmetic upgrades might be kept the same. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno
This is the top performer in the premium hatchback segment in India. Maruti Suzuki also launched a new generation of this car earlier this year. With the latest feature updates, sales have been boosted, and a CNG version is also expected sometime next year.
