Toyota recently revealed the Aygo X for the international markets. The Aygo X is a micro-SUV in the sub-4 meter category. The 2022 Aygo gets some changes in design and also in the interior. Here are 5 things you need to know about the all-new Toyota Aygo X.
-
Design
The micro-SUV gets a bold and aggressive design language. It gets sharp cuts and creases throughout the body, especially the front and rear sides. An all-LED lighting set-up does make it look sleeker and up-market. The design of the new Aygo is somewhat inspired by the Toyota Yaris hatchback. The side profile of the car really gives it the SUV appeal. Black cladding across the body makes it look quite “Macho”.

Interior
Toyota is not known for lavish, stylish and modern looking interiors, especially in lower-priced cars. The Aygo too gets a practical and basic interior layout, just like every other budget car from Toyota. However, the front of the interior does look a bit quirky with the round border around the infotainment system. The body-coloured inserts around the AC vents and on the door panels make the interior look young and fresh. It gets quite a few features too- a 9-inch infotainment system coupled with a JBL sound system. It gets wireless charging, wireless android-auto and apple car-play. The Aygo also gets a quite large sunroof!

Engine
The Toyota Aygo X is only available with one engine option. It is a 1L, 3-Cylinder motor that produces 72HP and 205nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-Speed manual gearbox, buyers will also get the option of a CVT. The power output looks just adequate for city driving, but the torque is something way higher than what we see in cars like these. 205nm of torque will surely ensure you have all the fun even in heavy traffic!
