With only a few days left to its official launch, the variant-wise feature list of the Toyota Urban Cruiser has taken over the internet. The Toyota Urban Cruiser is the second product of the Suzuki-Toyota JV after the Toyota Glanza which made its debut on back in 2019.
Just like the Glanza, which is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno with a few tweaks, the Toyota Urban Cruiser is also a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
The Urban Cruiser will come in 3-trim level- Mid (Base), High (Mid-Spec) and Premium (Top-spec) variants. So without wasting any more time, let’s see if the new “Young SUV” is worth the hype or not!
What does the Urban Cruiser offer on the mechanical front?
- The Urban Cruiser comes powered by a powerful K-series 4-cylinder 1.5 L petrol engine churning 105hp with 138 Nm of peak torque.
- The engine will come with a standard 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
- Interestingly, the new young SUV also gets an advanced li-ion battery with ISG reserved for the AT variants only.
