Citroen C3 was recently spied testing undisguised; it appears almost like the production-ready version. This would be their second launch in India after the C5 Aircross. Last September, the C3 made its global debut and was recently spied testing in Chennai.
The model spied testing was right-hand-drive, which clears that it is a made-in-India product. India will be the mother plant for tall the RHD versions, and the plant will be in Thiruvallar, Chennai, under Citroen’s C-Cube program.

Design
It is based on the CMP modular platform, which will also underpin another car in the same size & segment from their sister brand, Jeep. C3 will be 3.98 metres long, with a high stance cross-hatchback appeal.
Catering to the Indian taste, the spied car consisted of additional chrome elements both on the front & rear and some on the fenders. The testing version also misses out on the plastic cladding on the lower side of the doors compared to the global debut.
Upfront has a split headlight set up and the double-slat front grille bridging the headlights & DRLs. The wheel arches have cladding and roof rails on the top and blacked-out pillars, as seen in the side profile. Also Read: Citroën C3 | Everything You Need To Know
At the rear, it has rectangular taillights along the sides of a straight tailgate with a dual-tone bumper. It also has a faux skid plate with the contrasting bumper.
