The new upcoming Maruti Brezza 2022 interior has been spied undisguised! Let’s take a quick glance at it, and find some exciting details!
New Maruti Brezza 2022 Is High On Features – Finally Gets Sunroof!
Maruti Brezza 2022 will carry Indians their most beloved feature – the sunroof.
The sunroof on offer will be a single pane sunroof. Talking about the interior, the dashboard layout’s star attraction is the large floating 9” touchscreen similar to the one on the facelifted Baleno. Apart from that, it will also carry a HUD, cruise control, 360° camera, ventilated seats, wireless charger and automatic climate control.
The new Maruti Brezza will also be equipped with more premium upholstery and a black dashboard with a silver lining along with a well complemented wooden insert.
From initial glances, the interior can be said as upmarket overall!
New Maruti Brezza Exteriors
Enough of the interior, let’s talk about what’s in store for us on the outside. How well does the car look? From spy shots, the New Maruti Brezza 2022 looks fresher and more appealing.
Front Profile:
The slim DRLs certainly look more stylish as compared to the rather dated design of the outgoing Brezza. The Large chrome insert at the grill reminds of the Brezza that we first saw in 2016.
Side Profile:
New 16” wheels are a great addition to the side profile of the New Maruti Brezza. The spy shot colour appears to be a shade of bright red, which surely makes it look even better. Body cladding also enhances the ruggedness factor that typical SUVs should carry.
Rear Profile:
Coming to the rear, there is a ‘Brezza’ badging in between the refreshed inverted ‘L’ tail lights. Just beneath the bumper, one can easily spot the faux, silver-coloured skid plate.
Overall Design – Evolution Or Revolution?
Overall, we cannot say that the design is a revolution, but is rather an evolution. It carries inspired bits from the outgoing model and the older generation of the Maruti Brezza.
Surprise! – Expected Safety Rating Of 5 Stars!
The New Maruti Brezza already has a 4 Star GNCAP safety rating. With the new safety feature additions like 6 airbags and the use of higher tensile strength steel, we can safely expect a 5-star GNCAP rating.
Powertrain Details
The new upcoming Maruti Brezza 2022 will host a similar engine layout to the refreshed 2022 Ertiga. The Ertiga currently houses a NA 1.5 litre Dual Jet VVT petrol engine with a mild hybrid system. Powertrain figures are expected to be 101 bhp plus 137 nm of torque.
The main highlight though will be the replacement which will be made to the existing sluggish 4-speed automatic transmission, replaced with a new 6-speed torque converter. The automatic variants will carry paddle shifters too.
Final Verdict: Will Brezza Give Worthy Competition?
Although this subcompact SUV has certainly matured and is now capable of giving serious competition to other subcompact SUVs in its league (such as the Sonet, Nexon, upcoming Venue etc..). Modern-day features, coupled with a sound service network team plus a good safety rating are just the perfect combination Indian car consumers are wanting!
