While Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors have particularly been the talk of the town, Renault is all set to be back in the Indian market once more with a very good lineup. The Indian audience, now, is fond of new features, safety and technology which is why we see many car brands other than MSIL growing and selling their machines in India. For now, Renault has got the Kiger and the Triber that are helping the brand survive in the Indian market but here’s what we might see in the upcoming months on Indian roads. Here are upcoming Renault cars in India!
Most of us had seen this car at the last Auto Expo in India. This is a very futuristic design if we are talking about mass-consumer vehicles. If Renault Arkana comes to India, we can expect it to have a price range of around 20-25 Lakhs. Coupe SUVs seem to be the next big thing in India. While Tata is planning on the Curvv, Arkana is the first one among the upcoming Renault cars in India.
The second one on our list of upcoming Renault cars in India is the Koleos. While the Indian market has already had this machine once, we think we didn’t realise what a beat it was! Never mind, Renault is set to give us a second chance with this. This car will enter India through the CKD route and we can expect it to have a price tag of around 35 Lakhs.
New Renault Duster
The gang of Dusters has already been a very popular one of its time in India. Continuing the legacy, Renault has decided to bring back the top-selling car of its Indian lineup. We can expect the new Duster to arrive in India later this year
The MPV market in India is more or less evergreen. We never see a fall in the demand for MPVs in India which is why, among the upcoming Renault cars in India, we have the Renault Jogger which will compete with the already existing MPVs in India! This car could also be based on the Indianized version of the CMF-B platform and will enter India after the Duster does.
Renault Megane eTech
Last but not least, we have the Megane e-tech. The growing demand and need for electric cars in India have made this carmaker include an electric vehicle in their future lineup as well. The Megane electric will enter India through the CBU route which is why it could be expensive but the carmaker can definitely justify the price if they offer something out of the box!
