Tata Motors has achieved yet another milestone! The homegrown automotive brand has rolled out it’s 1,50,000th Tata Nexon from its Ranjangaon facility in Pune.
The Nexon is also India’s 1st GNCAP 5 Star rated car. The brand has achieved this milestone is a very short span as the Nexon achieved the 1st 50,000 production milestone on Sept’18, followed by the 1,00,000 on Sept’19.
The Nexon has been the flagbearer for Tata Motors since its launch in 2017. Being the first ‘Made in India’ car to receive a full 5-star adult safety rating by Global NCAP the Nexon compact SUV has paved the way for the brand’s bright future.
Well, that’s not all, The Nexon is also the first Indian car to get published on the IDIS (International Dismantling Information System) End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) segment.
IDIS is a central repository of ‘Manufacturer Compiled Information’. Over 25 global car manufacturers from over 40 countries across Asia and Europe use this platform. The Tata Nexon has become the first Indian car to join this elite group.
