The nationwide lockdown due to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic has left many major automobile manufacturers postponing or even cancelling their launches and among these is India’s very own home-grown carmaker Mahindra who as recently announced that the launch of the 2020 Mahindra TUV300 and the 9-seater variant the Mahindra TUV300 Plus has been postponed until further notice.
Although the current-gen Mahindra TUV300 received a facelift in 2019 but still wasn’t compliant to the new and more stringent pedestrian safety norms. The all-new 2020 Mahindra TUV300 was expected to break its cover in April but due to the current situation, the brand has decided to postpone the launch until further notice.

2020 Mahindra TUV300 | Specifications
- Under its revised hood, the TUV300 would feature an upgraded version of its previous 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine compliant to the BS6 emission norms.
- However, it is still unknown how the engine will perform with the new upgrades but one thing for certain that the engine will continue to deliver the power output within the 100hp region.

2020 Mahindra TUV300 | Features
- Major noticeable changes on the outside include a new high-rise revised grille giving the 2020 Mahindra TUV300 a much more rugged and heavy look. Other additional tweaks n the outside include new rectangular head and fog lamps with LED DRL’s.
- The new TUV300 also gets new DRL’s have been placed towards the upper edge of the unit giving the front a much more dynamic look.
