India’s one of the largest car manufacturer is all set to take over the domestic automobile industry. This home-grown carmaker is all prepared to launch an array of new vehicles under various segments such. Not only that Mahindra and Mahindra will also give a generation change to 4 of its Iconic and best-selling SUVs till date. So let’s have a look at them!

  1. Mahindra Scorpio

    The first Mahindra car to launch is the 2020 Mahindra Scorpio gets an all-new grille which helps the air-intake. As seen in the spy shots it also gets a new set of fog lamps, headlamps and a new curved bonnet for those who had difficulty over-looking the road.

    Other additional features will include wireless phone charging capabilities, automatic climate control, new flat-bed steering wheel with compressive controls on it, and updated touch and feel surfaces to make the Scorpio look and feel premium which makes the new Scorpio a perfect package for 7-seater SUV under Rs 20 lakh.

    Next Mahindra car to see a generation change is the next-gen Mahindra Thar and just like its predecessor, the new Thar will surely be a more rugged and rough model suitable for road type.

    On the outside, the all-new 2020 Thar will look slightly bigger than its predecessor and is expected to feature a new front grille which looks bolder than before. Other additional features on the outside include redesigned front bumper and a new set of LED tail lights which compliments its Boxy design.

    Coming to the Inside, it seems that Mahindra will retain the old interior while also sustaining some new interior features such as a dual-tone dashboard, Provision for 2-Din Music system, and Multi-Directional A/C vents. However, this time we might get a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

    Out of the blue, the BS6 compliant version of the Bolero complies to the all-new
    crash-test norms that were brought into play last year. Additionally, it also comprises the with the upcoming pedestrian safety norms which are set to be implemented in October 2020.

    Furthermore, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero BS6 has also become the first vehicle in Indian to be sold with metal bumpers.

    The Mahindra car to see a generation change is the new XUV500 will support a more squarish design with flatter door panels which blends perfectly with the SUV’s silhouette. Other key elements on the car include its signature family size grille with slightly smaller headlamps placed vertically placed just beneath the DRL’s. Other notable tweaks on the next-gen Mahindra XUV500 will include its distinctive ‘cheetah claw’ handles with chrome inserts all over the car.

    Talking about the inside, the dashboard of the XUV500 will resemble that of the Mahindra Funster which will include a fully-digital instrumental cluster positioned with a massive touchscreen infotainment system. We can also expect the XUV500 to come with a 3-row layout.
