Before its worldwide reveal in mid of 2020, Toyota Fortuner had its images leaked. It is now known to us how the mid-life facelifted version looks like and what to expect from it. Most of the internal features will be speculations as only images of the body have been leaked.
Toyota Fortuner | Engine Specifications
A calculated guess the Fortuner is, in India at least, expected to get its 2.7 Litre and 2.8 Litre diesel engines which are currently ported over to BS6 emission norms. It will have both manual and automatic transmission.
Worldwide Fortuner gets a myriad number of engines including and not limited to 4.0 L petrol engines and 3.0L diesel engines. These, however, are not ideal for the Indian market due to no demand for them.
Toyota Fortuner | Features
A new front bumper along with a new grille design and less use of chrome is visible. Instead of the current chrome grille, it appears to be gloss black which honestly gives it a better look than the current one.
Headlamp shapes from the top angle appear to be more sleek giving the car a sharper of a look. This shape heavily compliments the black grille.
Expected changes to rear include a restyled bumper, sharper tail lamps and possibly a led strip running down the rear of the SUV.
As no interior images are available, it can be expected for Toyota Fortuner to get a better infotainment system with multiple OS support and other tweaks like a better-looking dashboard and so on.

The facelifted Toyota Fortuner after launching in the Indian market will rival Ford Endeavour, Skoda Kodiaq, Honda CR-V and Isuzu MU-X.
There is no price point revealed yet but it might get a little bit costlier due to the new features. The price change will solely depend on internal changes.
