2022 F1 Brazilian Sao Paulo GP | Race Weekend

For all Formula 1 fans out there, it’s again a race weekend after a gap of a week. This weekend, the race takes place at the famous race track Interlagos in Sao Paulo, Brazil. For the past two years, i.e 2020 and 2021, the Brazilian GP has been a nail-biting race. 2020 as Pierre Gasly, Alpha Tauri driver, loaded his first podium in formula one. And in 2021, Lewis Hamilton won the Grand Prix despite the 25-place grid place penalty (technically). Hence, we expect something interesting this time too.

With that, after the FP3, qualifying also takes place the same day. This is where the top 20 drives compete with each other for the grid position for the Main Race.
  • You guessed it right, Sunday is reserved only for the main race. Depending on the qualifying outcome, the racecar drivers line up on the grid in that position (Unless they have a penalty or cannot participate in the race.
