One of India’s best-selling compact SUVs, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has finally been updated. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been launched in India. It gets a complete redesign inside out, and also gets a host of new features. Let’s take a look at the all-new Brezza!
-
Design of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The 2022 Brezza sits on the same platform as it did before. The dimensions also remain the same, apart from the height. The new Brezza now sits 45mm higher than its predecessor. The car is now slimmer and more angular, making it look a bit more aggressive than before. The gunmetal grill specifically makes it look much more sporty! The top variants of the Brezza get some snazzy dual-tone colour options, and they also get redesigned 16-inch alloys. For 2022, the Brezza has dropped the ‘Vitara’ prefix from the badge.

Interior and Features
This is where the major changes are. The interior is redesigned to make the Brezza feel much more premium than before. Although it still gets plenty of hard plastics all around, they sure do look premium. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza now gets a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ infotainment system. It also gets a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera and, wait for it, a SUNROOF! This is the first-ever Maruti car in India to get a sunroof, it is truly a revolutionary moment. It also gets wireless charging, android auto and apple CarPlay, a fresh steering connected car tech, and Alexa connectivity. The Brezza also gets 6 airbags, ESP, hill-hold assist and Isofix seat mounts.

Engine on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The 2022 Brezza gets only one engine option, a 1.5L Petrol unit that produces 103HP and 137nm. As standard, this engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There’s also an option of a 6-speed automatic gearbox (and paddle shifters!) on the top 3 variants. This new automatic replaces the older 4-speed automatic.
