Skoda gave us a glimpse of the interior design for their upcoming mid-size sedan. The Slavia’s dashboard design is very similar to the Kushaq, and however, it features round AC vents on each side. The familiar centre console features a floating touchscreen infotainment unit. The latest teaser image confirms the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Skoda’s 2-spoke steering wheel is now available on the Slavia and also features a digital instrument cluster. The side of the instrument binnacle has Skoda lettering.

Skoda Auto will unveil its new sedan in India on November 18th 2021. The Skoda Slavia premium sedan, which is mid-sized, will replace the Rapid and compete with cars like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna. Earlier, Zac Hollis teased the exterior of the Skoda Slavia, revealing some exciting details ahead of its global debut. The Slavia sedan is similar to the Kushaq SUV and built on the locally manufactured MQB A0-IN platform. It is likely to go on sale in India before any other market.

Similar to the Kushaq, Skoda Slavia will also offer two turbo-petrol engines – the 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI, which generates 110 hp with 175 Nm torque and the 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI, which produces 150 hp and 250 NM of torque. A manual with six speeds are available for both engines. The 1.0 TSI will have the option of a 6-speed torque converter that is automatic, and the 1.5 TSI will come with an automatic torque converter. 1.5 TSI – aimed at those who love driving will come with seven-speed DSG transmission (with paddle shifters).
