The 2023 Hyundai Mufasa has made its global debut and we are absolutely stunned by the details! Beijing Hyundai has made a new SUV break cover for China and if you are finding the name familiar, let us break the mystery for you. This was Simba’s father’s name in Disney’s The Lion King! Well, going back to the SUV, this one has been made keeping the Chinese market in mind.
Talking about the design, this crossover gets mixed design elements which resemble the Kia Sportage, the Kia EV6 and the Hyundai Tucson. This car looks so “Kia” that calling it Hyundai Mufasa makes us think that it would have been better if Kia had launched it.
The Hyundai Mufasa gets Sportage-inspired X-Shaped elements. Smartly designed headlights and a huge grille with the Hyundai logo and the ADAS module can be seen. This is one of the few times when Kia’s design elements can be seen on a Hyundai in such big numbers.
The Rear of the Hyundai Mufasa resembles the Kia EV6 whereas the side profile resembles the Tucson. The inside of the car has not been revealed yet but from the outside, we can make out that the interior of the car will be a sporty one. On the outside, we can see a sporty bumper, sharkfin antenna, lightbar connecting LED taillamps, black-finished ORVMs and more.
