The Nissan GTR has always been the most popular Japanese sports car; right up there with the Toyota Supra. Old-school charm and a madhouse under the hood are what make the GTR so lovable. However, this car did need a proper upgrade. Recently, the Japanese OEM revealed the 2024 Nissan GTR R35, and it looks smoking hot. Here’s a quick look at the 2024 Nissan GTR!

New design on the 2024 Nissan GTR!
Let’s start with the rear first, because that is the place where you can surely call it a GTR. The rear remains pretty similar to the OG GTR, which is definitely a good thing. The lights are still circular, and each side gets two of them. The chic GTR badge sits on the left side, staying true to the original design. The massive spoiler really gives it away. At the front, the 2024 Nissan GTR is completely new. Well, you can still see the GTR DNS in there, but it is different. The massive grille is now replaced with a sleeker one, and the lights are also sleeker. The front lip is lowered for better downforce, and the Nismo variants get a special carbon fiber treatment.

Engine and performance
The engine and transmission are the same as before. The mammoth under the hood is a twin-turbo, 3.8L V6 engine that makes 565HP. The Nismo variant gets the same engine, but it makes 600HP there! The 2024 Nissan GTR gets 20-inch wheels that sit on a customizable suspension setup. The engine has been refined to reduce vibrations (even more), and the interior has been designed to eliminate outside noise. The 2024 Nissan GTR still gets a 4WD setup with a new front limited-slip differential.

Interior
On the inside, the 2024 Nissan GTR doesn’t get a lot of changes. The interior is lined with Alcantara and the bucket Recaro seats enhance the aggressive appeal. The thick, Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel still looks the same, not complaining. It still gets an analog display for the driver, where the RPM gauge takes up most of the space. The interior also gets a lot of subtle red inserts, along with carbon fiber on the center console and on the seats.

Pricing
The official prices are yet to be revealed, but it is estimated that the 2024 Nissan GTR will start at around $120,000 (~Rs. 97 Lakhs). The GTR will go on sale in foreign markets in the spring of 2023. The Nismo variant will go on sale by June 2023.
