With many major car manufacturers not showing up, it is going to be a quiet Auto Expo this year. However, Maruti Suzuki has great plans for the Indian car market with over 5 cars in the pipeline for 2020. So, without further ado, here are 5 Maruti Suzuki Cars that will make its debut at the Auto Expo 2020.
-
Maruti Suzuki XL5
Based on the WagonR economy hatch, the XL5 is a more premium version and rich features like a new grille, new front bumper, LED headlights and taillights, and a faux-silver panel across the boot lid. XL5 is very similar to the XL6 concept which is nothing but a suited booted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis (Facelift)
Maruti is finally updating the Ignis premium hatchback after a long time when it was launched back in 2017. The 2020 Ignis has already been spotted many a time on Indian roads and is due to make its debut at the Auto Expo 2020. As always, the Ignis Facelift will sport a BS6 compliant petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (Facelift)
Probably the most awaited car from Maruti Suzuki, the Brezza will be getting a 2020 Facelift. The 2020 Vitara Brezza will get a new front grille with redesigned front and rear bumper along with new headlamps. The Brezza will also get a new BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol unit with a possibility of another smaller petrol engine with a turbocharger.
-
Maruti Suzuki Futuro-e (Concept)
The Maruti Suzuki Pavilion will also host a concept car; the Futuro-E. The Futuro-E will sport a totally different design never before seen by Maruti; a sloping coupe-like roofline with edgy headlamps and taillamps. We don’t really expect the Futuro-e to make it to production, however, Maruti could release something similar based on the concept car.

Maruti Suzuki Electric Car (EV)
Back in 2018, at the Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki showcased a WagonR based electric car which has been spied many a time on the roads in Gurugram. Speculations are that Maruti will finally release the “WagonR Electric” to the Indian market.
Maruti Suzuki is also expected to release a new range of BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) enabled cars in addition to the huge portfolio of 10 cars that Maruti Suzuki has in its inventory.
