Maruti Suzuki is all set to reveal a whole new range of cars in the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. A whole new concept of an electric SUV. Maruti has named this SUV as the Future-E for now. We don’t know much about the car yet but according to the internet, the Future-E would be based on the already existing S-Presso.

As far as we know, Maruti Suzuki will be revealing only the concept edition of the Future-E. We can’t expect the real SUV to be all-electric as its production commences. Maruti has decided to showcase the all-electric concept version to push itself as an electric car maker in the market. All of us know that electric is the future and all the manufacturers have started heading towards electric production and prototypes.

We have seen that other car manufacturers like Tata and Mahindra have got great future plans regarding the electric vehicle sector. Tata is all prepared with the Nexon EV and Mahindra has KUV100 and XUV300 in the pipeline. Maruti Suzuki also wanted to step up its EV game. We have seen only 1 EV by Maruti Suzuki and that’s too in the testing phase since long. The only EV is a look-alike of the already existing WagonR. No Launch date has been specified yet!

Straight From The Expo: Haima Automobile To Make Indian Debut At 2020 Auto Expo

Auto Expo is the best platform for all the car brands. Previously, Maruti Suzuki has showcased concepts like the R3 in 2010’s Auto Expo which turned out to be the Ertiga. The 2012’s XA Alpha now exists as the Vitara Brezza. The 2014 Ciaz concept made its way directly to the market as the Ciaz we see on the roads today. We expect some really great concepts to be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. The Expo is scheduled for the month of February 2020.
