  1. What’s NEW?

Keeping in mind that this is a mid-cycle update or a facelift the 2020 Honda WR-V still looks quite a bit same and the only major difference we could spot is the very uncommon resemblance to one of its cousin the Honda Jazz. However, some other minor changes on the WR-V facelift include a set of LED projector headlight and LED tail-light units, roof rails, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs (Top- variant), a new grille with horizontal slats.

  2. What’s Inside?

Well, sadly the new 2020 Honda WR-V facelift does not support many changes on the inside. However, you might see a new upholstery whilst retaining its same old bulky dashboard which was one of the main highlights of its previous generation model

Don’t be disheartened the top-end variants ( VX) of the WR-V will still carry some not so premium features such as an electric sunroof, cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-folding and adjustable wing mirrors, keyless entry, two airbags, rear defogger and a parking camera.

  3. What are the Engine Specifications?

Under its hood, the all-new 2020 Honda WR-V facelift will feature 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines both capable of generating 90hp/110Nm and 100hp/200Nm respectively while paired to a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT.

Both the models will deliver an ARAI certified mileage of 17.5kpl on petrol and 25.5kpl on the diesel engine.

  4. Is it Worth Buying?

As of now, the Honda WR-V does cost a bit higher than its competitors, but the features offered in its entry-level trim are also more as compared to its competitors. What’s more surprising is that he VX variant which also happens to be the top-spec variant will see a significant drop in its pricing.

  5. What whom will it be Competing against?

With its launch, the 2020 Honda WR-V facelift will be competing against the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra XUV300.
