Toyota Motors has revealed the Yaris facelift in the Philippines where it goes by the name Vios. There are no mechanical changes in the car. There are a lot of cosmetic changes though. Let’s take a look.

- The 2020 Toyota Yaris gets the same engine options as the current Yaris that is on sale in India at present.
- The transmission options offered at present are 6-speed Manual and 7-speed CVT-i. Although the Toyota Vios gets different transmission options, we can expect the current options if launched in India.
What’s new with the design?
At the front, you’ll find new LED headlamps with chrome garnish with integrated DRLs.
The new front bumper looks inspired by the Lexus grille design. The fog lamps have also been updated with a new design. The alloy wheels have also been revamped. The rear is not changed much.
What will you find new inside the 2020 Toyota Yaris?
Although the interior has not much changed, a major change is the new infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Its top variants get features like:

- Automatic Climate Control
- Drive modes
- Paddle shifters on the automatic version
Will 2020 Toyota Yaris come to India?
Toyota has not made any announcement about the launch in India yet. The current Yaris that has been on sale in India from 2018 has not been a very successful car from the carmaker. Toyota is also planning to introduce Maruti Suzuki Brezza based Urban Cruiser in India soon.
