The brand known to hype the pick-up truck game in India Isuzu is finally set to launch its first BS6 line-up, the 2020 Isuzu D-Max BS6 and the Isuzu D-Max S-cab BS6.
The teaser images of both models can be seen on the brand’s website. Additionally, Isuzu has also shared a small teaser video of the Isuzu D-Max S-cab on its Youtube channel.
It was recently reported that Isuzu was eyeing to reveal its BS6 line-up near the festive season. So, It seems that the time is here. It is rumoured that the brand is planning upon launching these model on October 14th 2020.
What powertrain options do we get?
- Talking about power, both commercial models are expected to get the 2.5-litre diesel engine. Now compliant to the BS6 emission norms.
- The engine is capable of producing 78 bhp @3,800 rpm with 176 Nm of peak torque @ 1,800-2,400 rpm
- We can also expect an all-new 1.9-litre diesel to be added in the upcoming BS6 line-up.
What else is new on the upcoming BS6 models?
- Coming to the design, both models are expected to get some significant amount of changes both on the interior and the exterior.
Apart from these two, Isuzu is also working on launching two more BS6 models in the passenger vehicle segment- D-Max V Cross and MUX by Q2 of 2021 and are based in the same platform.
The Next-Gen Isuzu D-Max V-cross which is a LUV (Lifestyle Utility Vehicle) has already been launched in international markets and is expected to hit Indian shores soon closely followed by the lesser-known Isuzu MUX.
