Though it gets a cheap price tag it surely doesn’t feel cheap. Talking about the engine, this MPV comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated 3 cylinder petrol engine. The motor produces 68ps of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. The car comes with 2 transmission options, a 5-speed manual, and a CVT. The Go+ starts at ₹4.2 lacs and goes up to ₹6.90 lacs for the top end T(O) CVT. On the inside, Datsun Go+ gets a 7″ infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The most important part, Go+ is capable of seating 7 but the rear seats are best suited for children.

Renault Triber (₹4.99 lacs – ₹7.3 lacs)*

With that said, this MPV comes loaded with features like twin cool glove boxes, and rear ac vents (even for the 3rd row). Talking about entertainment, the Triber comes with 7″ infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 1.0-litre 3 cylinder naturally aspirated engine powers the Renault.
The engine is capable of producing 72ps of max power and the peak torque output is 96Nm. The motor is mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed Easy-R AMT. One of the USP of the Triber is the 3rd row of seats, as for one, they are capable of seating 2 adults in decent comfort. Secondly, the 3rd can be completely removed which opens up a massive 623 litres of boot space.

Well, recently the Ertiga has entered into its new generation that gets new exterior and interior. Alongside that, the car also gets some new features, along with a new engine for the new BS6 era. On the inside, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets a comfy cabin with good material quality. The infotainment is a new slick unit from Maruti Suzuki that also gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Under the hood, the car gets a new more refined 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol mill. The motor puts out 105hp and 138Nm of peak torque, sadly the Diesel is out because of BS6. There is an option of 2 gearboxes to choose from, a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter.

For starters, XL6 gets a new aesthetics in and out. The addition of all-LED headlamps is also a part of the package. On the inside, this MPV gets all-black interior overall beige in the Ertiga. The feature list is identical as the Ertiga even the engine is shared between the two. Maruti Suzuki XL6 is exclusively sold in the companies premium dealer Nexa network.

Mahindra Marazzo (₹11.01 lacs – ₹13.59 lacs)*

Well, the Marazzo is just around the corner with a new BS6 diesel engine. The new Marazzo will get a new 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine capable of producing 121ps of max power and 300Nm of peak torque. A 1.5 Litre T-GDI turbo petrol engine is also on the way says Mahindra. Talking about the features, it gets all the latest tech including an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of cabin space, the Mahindra Marazzo comes with 2 seating options. An 8 seater with benched middle row and a 7 seater with captain seats in the middle.

It gets all the current-gen features including connected car tech. Hector gets you an additional 3rd row of seats making the Hector Plus a 7-seater. It also gets some cosmetic changes that include, redesigned headlights and taillights with new numbers in front and rear. Under the hood, it carries the same powertrain and drivetrain. It comes with turbo petrol with hybrid tech and a turbo diesel engine.
The turbo petrol engine is a 1.5-litre 4 cylinder, capable of producing 143hp and 250Nm of peak torque. The diesel gets a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 170ps and 350Nm of peak torque. the turbo petrol engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a DCT automatic. Sadly the other two powertrains don’t offer the convenience of automatic and only comes with a 6-Speed manual transmission.

Mahindra XUV 500 (₹13.27 lacs- ₹17.77)*

Under the hood, the car gets a familiar BS6 compliant 2.2-litre mHawk155 diesel engine. The motor produces 155ps of peak power and 360Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and no option of an automatic.

Talking about the engine it comes with two engine options a 2.7-litre 4-Cylinder naturally aspirated engine and a 2.4-litre diesel engine. Talking about petrol, it churns out 164 hp and 245 Nm of peak torque, and the diesel engine put out 148hp and 343 Nm of peak torque. Both of them come with a 5-speed manual transmission and diesel also gets a 6-speed automatic.

Kia Carnival offers various seating arrangements, a 7-seater, an 8-seater, and a 9-seater.
Keeping that aside, the MPV also gets a powerful 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. The 2.2-litre motor produces 200ps of max power and a whopping 440 Nm of peak torque. The motor powers the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Under the bonnet, Ford Endeavour gets a new 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that puts out 170ps of power and 420 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Ford is capable of carrying 7 people in the cabin.
