VW has already revealed the Virtus for India, and its launch is due next month. The Virtus is the sibling to the Skoda Slavia and will sit on the same MQB-A0-IN platform that houses the Kushaq, Taigun and the Slavia. Engine options will also be similar to this lineup (1L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol). Transmission options will also be the exact same ones (6-speed manual/AT, 7-speed DSG). The only EV on this list of the most awaited car launches in June. The EV6 is Kia’s first EV in India, and they have chosen to go the expensive route. The Kia EV6 will be a premium EV, in the coupe’ SUV segment and will primarily rival the Volvo XC40 Recharge. It will be offered with the option of an RWD and an AWD drive. The estimated range on the EV6 stands at ~540KMs, which is one of the highest numbers in India!
