No doubt Kushaq has definitely hit the affordable quite well. That said, affordability is what lets you sell well in India which is why Maruti is still unbeatable!

Maruti Suzuki (1,33,732 Units)
Now that WagonR became the top-selling car in India for July 2021, other members of the Maruti family also contributed to the sale figure and the brand collectively ended up July 2021 with a sale of 1,33,732 units.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (48,042 Units)
Although Creta has been the top-selling Hyundai for the month of July 2021, i20 also gave a significant push to Hyundai’s overall sales. Talking about other members of the family, the number has been decent and resulted in a collective sales of 48,042 units and YoY growth of 18.63%.

Tata Motors (30,184 Units)
Moving on, in the third place we have Tata Motors with a collective sale of 30,184 units. This Indian automaker has been growing really well in the Indian automotive industry in the recent past. The NCAP test ratings are surely responsible for the major sale boost but there has been a significant increase in the quality and design factors too. The YoY growth figure for Tata was somewhere around 25%.

Mahindra & Mahindra (20,797 Units)
This is the latest launch by the Indian automaker however, we still wait for the XUV700 very eagerly. What do you think of 700’s design? Do let us know in the comments section below! For now, Mahindra has shown a 22.96% growth as far as YoY stats are considered.

Kia Motors (15,016 Units)
Moving on, we have Kia Motors with a YoY growth of just 1 unit! This means Kia Motors’ craze is dying for sure. A brand that managed to sell so well in the lockdown era has maintained the sale numbers in a time when everyone is doing good. What does that mean to you? Do comment down below.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors (13,103 Units)
On the 6th Rank, we have Toyota with a sale of 13,013 units and YoY change of 48.93%! Now that Toyota is focusing more on rebranding stuff, what do you think, is it really a good decision?

Renault India (9,787 Units)
Another brand that is rising gradually in the Indian market is Renault. With increasing their lineup according to the Indian needs, Renault seems to have a bright future ahead. For now, they ended July 2021 with a sale of 9,787 units which means a 60.44% YoY growth.

Honda Cars India (6,055 Units)
Honda is in 8th place with a sale of 6,055 units. While the Japanese brand is working on a couple of facelifts for the Indian market, what they have as of now made them land here on the sales chart for July 2021 with a YoY growth of 27.02%.

Nissan India (4,259 Units)
Nissan is also among the top-selling car brands in India. With a sale of just 4,529 units this time, they are the first one to score below 5,000 in the sales chart. Talking about the YoY stats, we can see 21.58% growth!

Morris Garages India (4,225 Units)
Moving further, we have Morris Garages on our list with a sale of 4,225 units. It is amazing to see a brand surviving the market and showing growth despite the tough competition in the market. For now, MG recorded an 18.75% YoY growth in terms of sales.

Ford India (3,139 Units)
This time, we have decided to move further with the sales report because we want to talk about Skoda for sure. At the 11th rank, we have Ford that also has rumours getting around their India exit. For July 2021, Ford sold 3,139 units that mean a 36.41% drop if we look at the YoY stats. Why do you think is Ford experiencing a decline in sales?

Skoda India (3,080 Units)
The star of the sales report is here on the 12th rank. All thanks to the Kushaq, Skoda has been able to show a whopping 319% Yoy growth and looking at the trend of how the waiting period is growing for the Kushaq, we can definitely say, this is a very good product that they have launched in the Indian market.

Volkswagen India (1,962 Units)
While most of us are waiting for VW to launch the facelift for the Polo and Vento in India, there are still some people who are buying these cars with their old faces. 1,962 units is still a very good number considering the competition in the Indian market. The YoY growth for VW is 20.15%.

Jeep India (909 Units)
Stepping below the 1k mark, we have the American muscle brand. The Jeep Compass is the only vehicle that represents this brand to the Indian masses as of now. Talking about the stats we can see a YoY growth of 15.21%.

Citroen (40 Units)
Last but not least, we have Citroen that has sold 40 units of the C5 Aircross in July 2021. This brand is definitely planning to expand its Indian lineup but we are yet to see what they bring in first. Selling just 1 unit less than what they sold in July 2021, Citroen recorded 0.02% de-growth.
