The festive season brought to us many car launches, but wait, there’s more! India is on a car-buying spree and manufacturers know this very well. All major companies have been showering the market with new launches and facelifts. Here’s a list of 6 cars launching in December 2021!
-
Skoda Slavia
The Slavia has already been showcased, and it looks extremely promising. It has truly livened up the sedan segment once again. In a world full of pseudo SUVs, the Slavia is all set to make a difference. The Slavia sits on the same platform that houses the VW Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq. It also used the same engine and gearbox combinations as them. The 1.5 Turbo Petrol that produces 150HP makes the Slavia is the most powerful car in its segment, by a fair margin. It is expected in the markets very soon, and we are too excited to drive it! Prices are expected to lie between Rs. 10-16 Lakhs.
-
Volkswagen Tiguan
The Tiguan is one of the most underrated SUVs in its segment. Well, Volkswagen plans on changing this with this facelift. VW has equipped it with all the bells and whistles, making it up-to-date and ready to beat the competition. One major drawback is that it doesn’t get a diesel engine. The all-new Tiguan will hit the markets in December 2021. Prices are expected to hover around Rs.35 Lakhs.
-
Toyota Belta
Toyota is all set to launch the twin to the Maruti Ciaz. It will be called the Toyota Belta. Just like the Glanza and the Urban Cruiser, the Belta will pretty much by a Ciaz with a Toyota logo. EVERYTHING we see on the Ciaz will make its way to the Belta, including the 4-Speed Automatic Gearbox (optional). Prices for the Belta will be somewhere between Rs. 9-11 Lakhs.

Mahindra Scorpio
The Scorpio is the most exciting entry on this list of cars launching in December 2021. It will probably be the second most awaited launch this year, after the XUV700 of course. Mahindra is ready to recreate the craze that they created with the XUV700. The 2021 Scorpio will be a drastic change as compared to the previous model. It is expected to be much more refined, feature-loaded and up-market. Looking at the test pictures, the Scorpio will retain the boxy SUV look, adding to its macho road presence.
-
New Hyundai Kona
Electric is the new normal when it comes to cars, and Hyundai knows this very well. The all-new Kona is ready to be set free in the Indian market. With the update, the Kona gets a revised design language, which makes it much sleeker and futuristic. Nothing much has been revealed yet, but we do expect the Kona to come with all the latest tech and features. The expected price is somewhere between Rs. 20-22 Lakhs.
-
Hyundai Casper
With the launch of the Punch, it looks like Tata is planning to take over the micro-SUV market. But Hyundai has something in its pocket as well, the Casper. This micro-SUV will directly compete with the Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the Mahindra KUV100. The Casper will most likely share its engines with the Santro, or the Grand i10 NIOS. Prices are expected to be somewhere between Rs. 5-7 Lakhs.
