The electrical vehicles have already made a boom in the market. These cars are eco-friendly and reduce your fuel costs. In the next few years, it is expected that electric cars will replace the petrol-powered cars. But one thing which is holding back the electric cars is that they cannot cover a large distance in a single charge and can only be powered up at special charging points. Well till now this was a huge problem due to which electric cars couldn’t step in India. But the recent agreement between Electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider company (EVI Technologies) and the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) can solve this issue forever.
Under the agreement, EVIT will install a vehicle charging infrastructure at 5000 locations of BSNL across the country covering major cities. Also, EVIT will be making the entire upfront investment on its services mentioned in the MoU along with the operation and maintenance of battery swapping infrastructure. On the other hand, BSNL will do the work of providing the company with requisite space and power connections for installing the battery swapping infrastructure

This facility at BSNL locations will reduce the range anxiety among electric vehicle (EV) consumers and will increase the adoption of such vehicles across the country. This will also promote clean energy and the overall pollution level will also come down. Under this agreement, the first two charging stations will be opening next month in Maharashtra and Haryana.
In the near future, most of the cars will be powered by electricity. All the big names in the automobile industry have pledged to come up with their own fleet of electric vehicles. This EV revolution will not only help to beat the environmental problems but will also benefit public health which is the backbone of any society. This initiative by both companies is surely a great step and will prove to be very beneficial.
