First Sub-compact CNG SUV
Compared to the competition, no other subcompact SUVs offer a factory-fitted CNG kit. Tata has introduced twin-cylinder technology, but they might launch it in November. The Hyundai Exter will be the first in the segment to be equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit. -

Going with the USP of segment-first features, we also have a dashcam in the cabin that records both interior and exterior views. Initially, it was introduced with the Venue N Line with three recording modes. It supports full-HD video resolution and comes with a 2.31-inch LCD display with smartphone connectivity. -
Bold Design

Exter features a bold and boxy design with an upright stance, along with Hyundai’s parametric design language. It features a split-headlight design with H-shaped DRLs along with heavy cladding in the side profile for the wheel arches and doors. -
Shared Platform

This SUV shares the same K1 platform with the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, along with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. It churns out 83hp & 114Nm torque mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The CNG version will only be available with the manual; however, the interior of the car is also shared with its entry-level siblings.
