India-Bound Hyundai i10 N-Line Sheds Camouflage

Things have started to come back to normal a much recently the production-ready model of one of India’s most loved hatchback the Hyundai i10 N-Line was spotted testing somewhere in Korea and that too without its usual camouflage. It is also rumoured that launch for the i10 N-Line has been pushed forward due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and will now break its cover by the end of 2020 or early 2021.

The i10 N-Line happens to be the fourth N-Line model from the Korean automobile major after the i30 Fastback, i30 and the Tucson SUV. But unfortunately, this designated sports line has only been reserved for the international markets and not for the Indian market.

The i10 N-Line was first showcased at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. This hatchback supports a sportier design including a wider cascading grille with a hint of a red accent, smoked headlamps, multiple-spoke alloys and all-black roof and mirrors.

Coming to the mechanical front, the Hyundai i10 N-Line will underpin the same powertrain as of the Grand i10 Nios which features a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TGDi petrol unit capable of generating 99hp and 172Nm of peak torque while paired to a five-speed manual transmission and surprisingly it could also have an optional AMT.

On the Inside, It is said that the N-Line will more or less retain 80% of its specs from the Grand i10 Nios. So If compared to the i10 Nios the Hyundai i10 N-Line only had 1 notable change and that is its N-line branding on the boot and on its cascading grille.
