Toyota Vellfire to launch on February 26th 2020- It’s Official

Toyota Kirloskar group has finally made it official with the release of the first teaser of its most awaited MPV the Toyota Vellfire and to our surprise, Toyota has also provided a launch date of the car as well.

In the teaser, the MPV has been given the tag of #Sustainable Luxury and the teaser image also reveals that the luxury MPV from Toyota upholds a more curvy silhouette other than its rivals.

Toyota Vellfire | Engine Specifications / Dimensions

• On the mechanical front, the Toyota Vellfire will support a powerful 2.5-litre petrol engine which again comes paired with an electric motor, which seems to be the same hybrid powertrain being offered in the Lexus NX 300H.
• The new engine on the Toyota Vellfire is capable of generating almost 194 hp with 235 Nm of peak torque. Eventually, the power is transferred to both the axles via a CVT gearbox.
• Taking about the size, this 8-seater luxury MPV stands at 4935 mm in length, 1850 mm in width and 1895 mm in height. If compared to the Mercedes-Benz V-Class the Vellfire is only 435 mm short in length, 78 mm wider in width and 430 mm in height.

• In terms of features, the Toyota Vellfire will only be offered in India in its top-spec variant which is the ‘Executive Louge’ which includes LED headlights and tail lamps with a twin-electric moon-roofs and electric sliding doors and tailgates.
• On the Inside, the Toyota Vellfire features three-zone automatic climate control, a compact 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• Additionally, there will also be two 10.2-inch HD displays on the second-row captain seats with electrically adjustable ventilated seats with premium leather upholstery.
  

  Price / Rivals

• We can expect the Vellfire MPV will come with a price tag of Rs 68 lakh and Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom). with its launch the compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz V Class.
