Well, the wait has finally ended. Jeep India has launched the much-awaited 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The new locally-assembled wrangler now comes at a price of ₹53.9 lakhs for the Unlimited variant and goes upto ₹57.9 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) for the Rubicon variant.
Additionally, both the variants are available in 5 colour options– Bright White, Sting Grey, Granite Crystal, Black and Firecracker Red.

Will it have the same power specifications?
- The new Jeep is speculated to be offered in 2 variants-Rubicon and Sahara.
- It is also rumoured to feature the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, generating 268hp and 400Nm of peak torque.
- It is also speculated to feature an all-new 8-speed torque converter automatic.
- We can also expect it to feature a 2.2-litre diesel unit as well accompanied with a 4WD drivetrain and differential locking for both axles.
What’s on the feature end?
- Starting with the inside we will get to see push start/stop, multiple USB ports, a 17.78 instrument cluster that allows you to view key driving data without losing focus on the road ahead. You can keep track of active safety and security features, vehicle speed and Navigation.
- We will also get to see a more premium Alpine Audio System with a 552-watt 12-channel amplifier, eight speakers and a rear subwoofer.
- The updated fourth-generation of the Jeep UConnect includes pinch-to-zoom displays, performance improvements, faster start-up times, enhanced processing power, heightened touchscreen responsiveness and vivid clarity with improved resolution and brightness.
- Moving to the exteriors we will get to see a premium LED light setup.
- Apart from these minor upgradations, we will surely get to see some unique feature including fold for fun which helps to fold the windshield easier than before.

- Oh yes! there plenty of features that no one could have even imagined starting with 3 roof options- no top, soft top and hardtop.
- Another unique thing we get with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler is its underbody armour fortified with skid plates to help protect critical components.
- These steel skid plates protect all the important equipment like the fuel tank and transfer case, while an additional skid bar helps safeguard the automatic transmission oil pan.
- It also supports a unique trail-rated badge. The badge is earned when a vehicle is able to conquer a series of gruelling tests over the toughest terrain.
- These tests prove a vehicle’s ability to withstand harsh conditions and deliver incredible off-road capability.
What’s in it for safety?
- The new Wrangler also offers a Brake Assist System and a Four-Wheel Disc antilock Brake System (ABS) to improve vehicle control and decreasing stopping distances on dry and slippery surfaces.
- It also gets a full display rear parking camera along with an audible warning.
