Kia Motors has released an official statement to the media saying ‘The recent reports about the relocation of our manufacturing facility outside of Andhra Pradesh are not true. We are receiving full support from the State Government of Andhra Pradesh under the dynamic leadership of Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy. Kia has a long term commitment to the India market and has made an investment of USD 1.1 bn in the manufacturing plant at Anantpur. We will continue to offer world-class, made-in-Anantpur vehicles and innovative mobility experience to our valuable customers in India. Request consumers to refrain from reports which do not cover these facts.
Talking about the lineup, Kia has already launched the Seltos in India and the Creta rival is doing really well in terms of sales. Hyundai has recently unveiled the all-new Creta in the Indian version of the motor show but they are yet to reveal the pricing of the newly unveiled SUV. Kia has also come up with the Carnival which is available in multiple seating options in India. This makes the MPV a perfect competition for the Toyota Innova Crysta.

Kia Motors is planning to launch various new vehicles in India this year and as stated earlier, all of them will be manufactured in the already existing manufacturing facility at Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh only.
