While we already know that Maruti had several launches up its sleeve for the year 2022, what we didn’t know is that Maruti is all set to hit the ball outside the ground with pricing. The latest to join in is the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the prices for which have been leaked via website source codes! Read on to know all about the shocking price leak.
The Shocking Price Tag?
Expected to take on the mid-size SUV segment by a storm, the Grand Vitara is all set to enter the market with a bang, at least that’s what the leaked prices suggest. As revealed by the website’s source code, the SUVs’ ex-showroom price is Rs.9,50,000 which we feel is the one the base variant would command.
Nonetheless, if what the source code reveals is true, then the Grand Vitara’s base trim would be cheaper than the Hyundai Creta by almost a lakh; which itself is a thing that can give a tough time to the Creta’s reign over the market.
And if there’s any truth in the price tag leak, then the Grand Vitara will follow the trend across all variants helping the vehicle offers a value-for-money package directly locking horns with segment leaders like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, etc.

The Grand Vitara Advantage
When it comes to what’s known about the SUV, the Grand Vitara will aim to lead the competition by offering two major advantages over the segment leader Creta. The first is the availability of an all-wheel drivetrain and the second will be the option of a hybrid powertrain.
With an official unveiling scheduled for 20th July, the major trims of the vehicle have also been revealed. As per the information, the vehicle will offer regular IC-only trim along with a unique hybrid trim named ‘Intelligent Electric Hybrid’. The use of the term “Intelligent” hints at the fact that the hybrid capabilities can be used either automatically or manually by forcing the vehicle to run on pure electric juice.
Bookings for the SUV are already on for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/- at all Nexa dealerships. The vehicle can also be booked online by logging on to www.nexaexperience.com.
