By far the biggest change we can expect is that in this new update, MG Hector might get level-ll ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features. Not to forget, MG was the first carmaker to bring the ADAS features to mainstream cars with Gloster and then Astor.

Well, it is also anticipated that the features on the new MG Hector might include, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and others.

  3. Price and Launch date

Since the day of the launch of the MG Hector, the SUV comes with a ton of features of keeping its occupants entertained. As of the prices, right now MG Hector starts at Rs. 14.15 Lakh and goes all the way up to 20.32 Lakhs, both ex-showroom. With this update, we expected MG to raise the prices by 50,000 – 60,000 for the top-end trim. And 10,000- 15,000 for the lower variants that will not have ADAS. This means the new prices would range from Rs. 15 Lakh – Rs. 22 Lakh (ex-showroom). As said earlier we expect the new MG Hector to be launched somewhere around November this year. Additionally, as of now, there is no news about the update being carried forward to the MG Hector Plus. However, we expect, eventually the 7-seater will also be pampered with similar changes.
