Maruti Suzuki India has officially discontinued its Alto K10. The car was the higher variant of Maruti Suzuki Alto and now only the 3-cylinder option will be available.

The car, however, is still being sold by dealers across the country. The plan is to sell all the available units and not manufacture any new ones. The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is also not removed from the company’s official website.
The car was a BS4 compliant 3 cylinder petrol engine powered hatchback. It had a power output of 67bhp and 90Nm torque. it came with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic options.
To make it more accessible it also came with a three-cylinder CNG option. This variant had 58bhp and 78Nm torque. It came only with a manual transmission option.
In the safety department, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 had one driver-side airbag. The anti-lock braking system with EBD to prevent the car from losing control.
After Maruti Suzuki S-Presso showed great sales the company decided to discontinue Alto K-10.
S-Presso has a BS6 compliant engine which churns out 68bhp and 90nm torque paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and optional Automated Gear Shift Transmitter.
S-Presso is currently sold between 3.69 Lakhs and 4.91 Lakhs INR and is a mini SUV.

The Alto K10 will be sold till the stocks last or 31st March 2020 as from April 1st the sale of BS4 cars will be illegal. It is priced at 3.27 lakhs INR.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 was one of the most sold models of the company and was a good drive for the rate it was sold at. After a decade of production from 2010, it will finally be put to rest.
