Maruti Dzire is about to receive the much-required updates. MSIL has realised the competition coming from the Honda Amaze and the newly-launched Hyundai Aura. According to a recent report, it will get a bunch of new features to count on, newly refreshed cabin and an all-new exterior.
The new features coming up on the new 2020 Dzire facelift will include technologies like ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with Hill Hold function and cruise control. Other updated features include flush type parking sensors, seats with a 3D look. The latest SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice recognition along with cloud-based functions is there on the Dzire now. FYI, the new Brezza and the Ignis have got the cloud functions ahead of the Dzire.

We can also expect the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire to get bigger brakes, new wheel design and the premium wooden interior as well. The ORVMs will now be auto-folding also. The new Dzire gets a new BSVI compliant 1.2L Dual VVT petrol engine with the idle start-stop. This engine was previously seen on the Baleno and the Glanza. This engine delivers 90 PS and 113Nm.

The Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre powertrain is now no more and the start-stop engine technology on the new sedan will help obtain an improved fuel mileage. We can expect this car to launch in mid-April. The Dzire is already a segment leader and will soon maintain the position with the new features coming in!
