• None of the sub-compact SUVs offers a diesel engine. As for petrol, Magnite has two engines on option, a naturally aspirated and a turbocharged.
• Magnite’s turbocharged engine is the most powerful in the comparison and comes mated to a CVT. This engine also offers the best fuel mileage.
• Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza, the wicked SUV surely has a decent engine and has one of the most refined engines from Maruti.

Nissan Magnite or the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza | Which offers more space? 

• Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is wider and taller than the Magnite. But, when it comes to ground clearance, Magnite gets ahead of Brezza. This means that, inside the cabin, Brezza offers better headroom.
• Magnite offers better bootspace, though the difference is not a major one.

Both the cars have scored a 4-star rating at the NCAPs. Vitara Brezza scored the rating at the Global NCAP while Magnite scored the stars at ASEAN NCAP. It is soon to be tested by Global NCAP too. Let’s take a look at the safety features both the cars have to offer.

In the end, all comes to the price comparison. This is where Nissan Magnite makes a dent on the whole segment. The ex-showroom price of the base variant is ₹4,99,000. As for the Vitara Brezza, you will have to spend ₹7,34,000 (ex-showroom). When it comes to the top-spec variant with CVT option, Nissan has priced the magnite at ₹9,59,000. Vitara Brezza top-spec with AT will cost you ₹11,15,000. Do note that all the prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
