MG India reported a sale of 3,239 units of the Hector for the month of November 2019. This is the second consecutive month for which MG has sold over 3,000 units. This time it’s not good news for sure. This is because MG sold a total of 3,500 units of the Hector last month and has experienced a downfall in sales this time. This is the first time, MG India has experienced a downfall in the month-on-month sales since the launch of the Hector in June earlier this year.

MG India sold a total of 1,508 units in the month of July followed by a sale of 2,018 units in August. While in September MG Motor India registered sales of 2,608 units of Hector, the retail sales rose to 3,536 units in October.

Hector was the first vehicle in the lineup introduced by MG India. MG has now unveiled the ZS EV and plans to launch it soon for the Indian market. The overall response to this new car make has been quite impressive. The Hector has been bought by the Indian audience in great numbers. Though, the decline in the sale number for November exists but it’s not that prominent. MG can expect a boost once the ZS is launched in India.
Rakesh Sidana, Director- Sales, MG India said,” The sustained momentum of MG India is a perfect example of how Hector has won the hearts of the Indian audience. Further, we are focused on completing timely deliveries of the car and expanding our service network to cater to the needs of the customers. Majority of the expansion will be based on the service network in the coming months.

MG Motor India currently has over 150 centers across India, aims to further strengthen its network count to 250 centers by March 2020.
