Morris Garages(MG) has launched its ZS EV in Jan 2020 & Hyundai is already in the EV market with its Kona EV, launched in July, last year. Both electric cars are of compact SUV category and come equipped with various common and uncommon features. So, let’s have a closer look at the specifications of these two electric cars:

MG ZS EV gets slightly higher power output from its motor, compared to motor of Hyundai Kona EV. - Max. torque output for Hyundai Kona is higher than that of MG ZS EV.
- ZS EV is quicker in getting 0-100 by 1.2 seconds when compared to Hyundai Kona, which is quite impressive.
- Hyundai Kona EV’s top speed is higher than ZS EV by 20 km/h, Which is a remarkable plus-point for Kona.

MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV are very competitive in terms of basic features, but MG ZS EV has a smaller range even after holding a larger battery pack compared to Hyundai Kona EV. Hyundai Kona is also better than MG GS EV in terms of top speed and torque output. Moreover, Kona EV is already a popular EV outside India. So, we may rely on Hyundai for the first EV experience.
