The MG ZS EV is all set to launch in the Indian markets.
The Chinese-owned British carmaker has launched its second SUV which is a fully electric offering by the company.
After the success of the Hector, MG is looking bullish and optimistic to make sure that the ZS EV creates the same amount of hype in the Indian automotive market which is slowly but gradually looking towards the electric vehicles.
Set to compete with its electric rivals, Tata Nexon EV and the Hyundai Kona EV, the MG ZS EV is already available for bookings across Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai at a price of ₹50,000.

MG ZS EV | Excite
Interiors: Inside the car lie some exciting features and specs. The leather-wrapped steering wheel, leatherette door trims and armrest, and 60:40 split rear seats give a luxury feel.
On the tech side, the car is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car comes with power ORVMs, steering mounted controls, push-button start-stop, auto headlamps, cruise control and an adjustable steering wheel.
Exterior: The exteriors of the car look rather stylish and give the car a more powerful and stylish stance. The car comes with projector headlamps, turn indicators on ORVMs, LED DRLs, and body-coloured bumpers.
Safety: The Excite variant of the SUV comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, ISOFIX mounts, anti-theft system, speed warning system, pedestrian warning system, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brake, speed-sensing door lock and a lot more.
MG ZS EV | Exclusive
The upper trim Exclusive variant comes loaded with features.
On the interior front, the car comes with (additional to the Excite variant) a PM2.5 filter, leatherette seats and a panoramic sunroof. Adding to this comes heated ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver seats.
Moreover, on the outside, an additional silver finish rail roof gives the car a more sporty look.

Specifications
- The MG ZS EV comes powered with a 44.5 kWh liquid-cooled, lithium-ion battery.
- The car will churn out 150 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque output.
- The battery pack will power the car to run 340 kilometres on a single charge, which is somewhat similar to the Tata Nexon EV.
- The fast charging option is available as well which will charge the car up to 80 per cent in 50 minutes.
With Tata and Hyundai bringing in the Nexon EV and the Kona EV respectively, the electric car market is surely going to heat up in the coming days.
