Nissan Magnite | What’s under the Hood?

Magnite 1.0-litre Turbo-Petrol Engine

The Nissan Magnite is one of the powerful cars in its segment if not the most powerful. The sub-compact SUV comes with two engine options. Surprisingly both are 999cc engine, but one is naturally aspirated whereas the other one is turbocharged.

Talking about the 999cc naturally aspirated engine,

  • It produces 72ps of max power and the peak torque output stands at 96Nm.
  • With this engine there only is an option of a 5-speed manual transmission.

For obvious reasons, the engine with a turbocharger is more powerful.

  • The 999cc turbo petrol engine produces 100ps of maximum power and peak torque of 160Nm.
  • With this motor, you can choose from two transmission options, a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
  • The sad part is that the engine with CVT is detuned and produces 152Nm of peak torque.
