South Megastars And Their Exquisite Car Collection

When it comes to entertainment there is nothing that beats the Cinema industry and the fact that producers, directors, actors and actresses are earning crores together is definite proof of this. While the famous actors splurge their money on other luxurious stuff, some of them have a penchant taste for luxury cars and even super cars as well. Here is a list of a few south megastars and their exquisite car collection that you need to know about.

1. Darshan’s Lamborghini Urus
   

   

   We’ll start with the Kannada Film Industry, also known as Sandalwood, and many actors might be having a very good collection but they can never come close to Challenging Star Darshan and his tasteful collection. The star has 2 Lamborghini cars that include a recently bought Lamborghini Urus and a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. Apart from the Lambos, the actor has a slew of other cars that range from Jaguar XKR-S, Audi, Porsche, Mini Cooper and Mercedes Benz as well.

2. Sudeep’s Lamborghini Huracan
   

   

   The most successful actor in the Sandalwood industry in recent times and also one of the most versatile actors Sudeep lovingly called Kiccha Sudeep by his fans is also known to have a very good collection when it comes to his cars. His most prized collections are the Lamborghini Huracan, Range Rover Vogue, Volvo XC90, Jeep Wrangler and he was recently gifted a BMW M5 by Salman Khan. Apart from this, he uses a Jeep Compass and an Audi Q7 as his daily drivers. If this is not enough to qualify to be on the list of Megastars and their exquisite car collection, then we are not sure what is.

3. Puneeth Rajkumar’s Lamborghini Urus
   

   

   Yup, there is another Lamborghini Urus in Sandalwood and this one is owned by Puneeth Rajkumar, son of the legendary actor Dr Rajkumar. The other cars owned by Sandalwood’s Power Star include BMW 730 LD, Jaguar XF, Range Rover Vogue, Mini Cooper convertible, Audi Q7, BMW X6. Looking at his car collection, you can say that he has got a thing for luxury SUVs for sure and has a couple of sedans as well. Apart from these, he uses either a Ford Endeavour or a Toyota Fortuner for his city drives.

4. Yash’s Pajero Sport
   

   

   We have another SUV lover on this list and it is none other than the Rocking Star Yash, famous for his lead role in the all-India blockbuster movie KGF. While we eagerly wait for the second part of the movie, let’s look at his car collection. It includes a fancy looking Pajero Sport, Audi Q7, Mercedes Benz DLS 350D, Mercedes GLC 250D Coupe, and a BMW 520D. Yeah, we know the BMW 520D is a sedan but all others are SUVs and he is most commonly seen in the Audi Q7 or one of his Mercs.

5. Chiranjeevi’s Rolls-Royce Phantom
   

   

   The Megastar of Tollywood Cinema Chiranjeevi is known for his exceptional acting skills and versatility in the different roles he portrays. The first car in India was brought by the Telugu superstar Jr.NTR and definitely his most prized possession. Apart from this Italian beauty, he owns the BMW 720LD, Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d, Range Rover Vogue and a Porsche 718 Cayman. His collection might be small but it ain’t short of luxury and that’s the reason he is one of the megastars with an exquisite car collection.

7. Ram Charan Tej’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage
   

   

   Ram Charan Tej, son of the legend Chiranjeevi is a car enthusiast and although his collection does not have many cars, the ones he has is nothing shy of extraordinary. His most prized car in the collection is the Aston Martin Vantage but still not as costly as the Range Rover Autobiography edition that he owns. Apart from these, he has a Mercedes Benz GL350 and a Mercedes S-Class W221. A classy collection as you can see.

8. Naga Chaitanya’s Ferrari 488 GTB
   

   

   This is one of the monsters that Naga Chaitanya owns and damn it looks great. Son of one of the most famous actors and also a legend Nagarjuna, he is an avid car enthusiast and splurges money on his cars when he gets the chance. His extensive car and bike collection says it all and is honestly one of the most interesting collections. His most prized possession is definitely the monster shown above which is the Ferrari 488 GTB, apart from which he owns a Nissan GT-R, BMW 7-series, 2 Range Rover Vogue with contrasting black and white colours, a Porsche Panamera and a Porsche Cayenne. 9. Rajnikanth’s Rolls Royce Ghost
   

   

   The man, the myth, the legend, the God of South Indian Cinema has the most unique car collection among all the celebrities in India. He is not only interested in multi-crore luxury cars but also keeps himself simple and sane with pure vintage cars that bring back memories from the good old days. His modern collection includes a Lamborghini Urus, Rolls Royce Ghost, BMW X5, Rolls Royce Phantom, Mercedes-Benz G63, and the most unique bit being a custom-built Limousine that is said to be worth more than Rs.22 crores. His vintage collection includes a Hindustan Ambassador and a Premier Padmini which were the first cars he bought and still maintains in top-notch condition. Now that is a man of simplicity and an epitome of humility.

10. Vijay’s Ford Mustang GT
    

    

    Joseph Vijay Chandrashekhar is currently one of the most sought after actors in the Tamil cinema industry and is already gaining as much popularity as Superstar Rajnikanth. Most of his movies are mass commercial movies and are mostly blockbusters. The major reason being he has participated in many racing events during 2010 and is actually a qualified race car driver and we believe he is the only one on this list with this additional career. He has a short but very exciting collection of cars that includes a Ferrari 458 Italia, a BMW 740Li, and a Honda Accord V6 while his list of bikes is longer with a BMW S1000RR, Aprilia Caponord 1200, BMW K1300 S and a Kawasaki Ninja ZX 14R. He actually needs to be on the top in this list of megastars and their exquisite car collection but since this list is not in any particular order, we felt it’s alright.

13. Mammootty’s Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
    

    

    Mollywood’s most famous actor in history, Mammootty is very much known to be an auto enthusiast. So much so, that his garage collection is famously called the ‘369 collection’ and no it is not the number of cars that the superstar owns but the fact that each and every single car that he owns have the license plate number of 369 on them. Even his son is an auto enthusiast and this duo owns a long list of cars that can be seen blazing the roads of Kerala. The list includes Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe, Porsche Panamera Turbo, Porsche Cayenne S, Range Rover Autobiography, BMW E46 M3, BMW i8, a vintage Toyota Supra, and a Mercedes-Benz S-class among others.

14. Mohanlal’s Toyota Vellfire
    

    

    Another famous actor from Mollywood is undoubtedly Mohanlal or famously known as Lalettan. His collection includes the Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV, Mercedes-Benz S-class W221, Mercedes-Benz GL350 CDI, and a Toyota Land Cruiser as well. 15. Prithviraj’s Lamborghini Huracan
    

    

    One of the most aspiring actors Prithviraj Sukumaran is known for his love for cars and is not shy to show it off too. His list of cars includes a Lamborghini Huracan, a Rango Rover Vogue, Porsche Cayenne, BMW Z4, and a BMW 760Li. He mockingly said that he has already bought 2 cars in a year and needs to act in more films in order to buy more. We sure can understand his situation of wanting to buy more cars or bikes but unfortunately need to earn more to do so.

Actors have a risky career since their skill is what most of the entire movies bank upon and whether a movie is a blockbuster or a hit totally depends on the actors in the movie. Also, they can spend the money any which way they want, but choosing to spend it on cars and bikes goes to prove their love for cars and it also comes with social status of course but we primarily focus on the former. That being said, this list has more megastars and their exquisite car collection but we managed to pick a few who have an exciting car collection apart from the usual BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz sedans and SUVs.
