The new system is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The SmartPlay Studio infotainment system has got a more vibrant and intuitive interface if we compare it to the previous SmartPlay system. This one can play music from a number of sources that include USB, Bluetooth, FM/AM/DRM and AUX. This system also offers image and video playback support to the user.
The SmartPlay Studio infotainment system doesn’t have a built-in navigation system but can pair to your smartphone and navigate via MapMyIndia’s Navi Maps. You can connect your smartphone to this infotainment system via SmartPlat Studio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

As we know, the SmartPlay Studio infotainment is available in the top-level trims of WagonR, similarly, only the top-level trims of both the Swift and the Ertiga receive this infotainment system. Maruti Suzuki has temporarily discontinued the S-Cross. We suppose that it will also get the same infotainment unit once it is back in the market. The Maruti Eeco, Maruti Celerio, Maruti Celerio X, Maruti Ciaz and Maruti S-Cross currently don’t have this infotainment system but we hope Maruti will extend the range soon.
