Tata Motors Starts BS6 rollout- Will bring out big guns at Auto Expo 2020

India’s very own Tata Motors on wednesday announced that the company shall start rolling out BS6 variants of there passenger vehicle segment from January 2020. However, the Indian auto giant will also be setting the stage ablaze by unveiling 4 new global variants, 14 commercial and 12 passenger vehicles at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo.

Tata Motors, CEO and MD, Guenter Butschek said “We are delighted to announce the theme for our pavilion at to announce the theme for our pavilion at the Auto Expo 2020.- Connected India: Responsible and Sustainable Mobility Solutions. This theme will bring alive our future focus on CESS. which is – Connected, Electric, Shared and Safe. The future of efficient, green, sustainable mobility solutions needs to translate into reality“.

  • Butschek also went on to say that, that the all our peers are very excited to unveil our new range of future portfolio at the 2020 Auto Expo not only that the new line-up is not only BS6 ready but are very well proportioned to enhance the value proposition for our aspiring customers.
  • On top of that according to leading media houses the Tata Motors pavilion at the 2020 Auto Expo has been designed in such a way that visitors will have an interactive experience.
  • Tata motors seems to have geared up for 2020 as the company will also be introducing a couple of new platforms ensuring higher commonization of parts, quicker time to market and lower costs for its vast range of drivetrain combinations along with an new improvised range of petrol, diesel engine with both automatic and manual transmission compliant to the BS6 emission norms.
  • Tata Motors, CTO and president, Rajendra Petkar stated that, “The Tata Motors team has tirelessly worked towards a seamless transition to the BSVI regime. With the customer at the centre of our plans, we have designed & engineered our products. keeping in mind the duty cycles and growing aspirations. From January 2020 onwards we will be introducing over 100 lead models with over 1000 variants. These will cover options of powertrain combinations, body styles, chassis configurations plus technologies imbibing connected, electric, shared and safety. Significant front loading of activities, use of digital product development tools and and early involvement of globally reputed technology and supplier partners has helped us to accelerate the portfolio migration.”
