Tata Motors revealed the car with the key features but didn’t say anything about the engine and specs. The BS4 model of the Tata Nexon comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 108bhp. The SUV is priced at 6.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
There are several vehicles which have experienced a drop in the engine’s power output but Tata has surprised the audience this time as the power output of the new Tata Nexon facelift has increased! The new BS6 compliant engine generates 118 bhp at 5000RPM that is 10 bhp more than what the same engine used to generate in its BS4 avatar. Tata Nexon still comes with the same transmission where they are offering 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

The new power specs of the Tata Nexon facelift are identical to what the Hyundai Venue offers. The XUV300 which is another one in the competition generates 108bhp but the new mStallion engine which is about to power the turbo version promises 127bhp!
Till now we have only mentioned about the petrol engine on the Tata Nexon. In case you were wondering what happened to the diesel engine, we would like to inform you that 1.5-litre Revotorq oil burner continues to produce 108 bhp at 4000 rpm and 260 Nm of peak torque between 1500-2750 rpm.

The new Tata Nexon Facelift sports an all-new design. The new grille taking design cues from Impact 2.0, while upgrades include a revised bumper, headlamps with LED DRLs, LED projector lens and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The new tri-arrow signature headlights add on to the new features on the Tata Nexon. Inside the cabin, we can spot the new upholstery, new infotainment and an electronic sunroof.
