Tata Motors today has (re) launched the new beefed-up crossover edition of the Tiago; Tata Tiago NRG. The Indian market isn’t alien to the NRG moniker which was first launched back in September 2018. The New 2021 Tata Tiago NRG is based on the facelifted version of the standard Tiago introduced in 2020. Dispatched and deliveries have already commenced and cars have already reached dealerships.

Design & Features
The Tiago NRG is most likely based on the top-end XZ trim of the standard Tiago and gets almost all the features of the same.
The Tiago NRG is 37mm longer and gets new 15inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
What distinguishes the Tiago NRG from the normal Tiago is the heavy usage of plastic parts and cladding and a ground clearance of 181mm. The objective is to give the Tiago a more rugged and off-road friendly look. The list of modifications on the Tata Tiago NRG includes:
-
- Sharper Fascia (Grill)
- Faux Body Cladding (Front + Side + Rear)
- Front + Rear Skid Plates
- Roof Rails
- Contrasting Trim on the gear level
The most prominent new feature on the Tiago NRG is the presence of a START/STOP and Keyless Entry button which the standard Tiago DOES NOT get. However, it misses out on the Automatic Climate Control feature as seen on the standard Tiago.
The Tata Tiago NRG will be offered in 4 new colours:
- Foresta Green
- Snow White
- Cloudy Grey
- Fire Red
